Hyperliquid's HYPE Spot ETFs opened with strong early demand, with purchases running about 2.5x the Assistance Fund's daily buy-and-burn over the first six trading sessions. Futures indicators also pointed to buyer-led activity, while volume conditions were described as cooling despite HYPE's continued rise. The sixth session marked the biggest ETF inflow so far, putting focus on whether demand can persist beyond the initial launch window.

Sui said on May 20, 2026 it is introducing a protocol-level feature that enables peer-to-peer transfers of supported stablecoins without users holding SUI for gas. As the rollout reaches validators, Sui says stablecoin transfer fees drop to $0.00, with support live for USDsui, suiUSDe, AUSD, FDUSD, USDB, USDC, and USDY. Fireblocks integrated the solution ahead of the rollout to support enterprise access to stablecoin activity on Sui.

HYPE has continued to outperform a weaker broader crypto market, trading near prior highs while other major assets face selling pressure. According to Arkham Intelligence, a whale wallet linked to Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) created a new address, bought 206,325 HYPE worth about $9.95 million over the past ten hours, and staked the tokens soon after. The report also points to roughly 2.34 million HYPE accumulated since April 14 at an estimated combined cost of about $102 million.

Chainlink's CCIP saw record network activity after several LayerZero-based protocols moved over following the KelpDAO exploit, while LINK rebounded from the $9 area. Daily Active Addresses reached 80.43K during KelpDAO's transition week, and more than 500K LINK were added to reserves via fee-driven market buys, though overhead supply still capped upside.

Dogecoin spot ETFs have picked up inflows in May, reaching $2,154,380.79 month-to-date through May 19 with no outflow days during the period shown. The gains were driven by five positive sessions, including an $860,958 inflow on May 18, while eight sessions logged zero net inflow. DOGE was trading at $0.10 at press time.

Zcash (ZEC) defended the $500 level four days ago and later climbed to $593 before easing to $581, up 3.2% in 24 hours. Derivatives data showed $880 million in Futures Inflows versus $800 million in Outflows, lifting netflow 87% to $80 million, while shorts still made up 60% of positions. More than $3.8 million in shorts were liquidated, and a daily close above $600 is flagged as the key level to validate a move toward $620.

Hyperliquid-linked ETFs brought in nearly $8.2 million in net inflows this week, after 21Shares posted its strongest day since launch and Coinbase was named the official treasury deployer for Hyperliquid's stablecoin ecosystem. 21Shares said its new fund saw about $8.1 million in Thursday trading volume and nearly $4.9 million in net inflows, while HYPE was up roughly 8% at about $43.63 by Friday.

Binance said it will carry out wallet maintenance on May 21, temporarily suspending deposits and withdrawals on the Ethereum network. The exchange expects the work to take about one hour, while trading will remain available throughout the maintenance window.
