Bitcoin (BTC) traded near $82,400, down about 0.7% over 24 hours and 4.2% over the past week. The token briefly touched $84,249 before giving back those gains and trades 34.7% below its October 2025 record high of $126,200. US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net outflow of $678.9 million last week, the largest weekly withdrawal since June. The market sentiment index read 55, a neutral level, with prices under pressure ahead of the CPI release.

Bitcoin is trading above $83,000 and the Fear and Greed Index has climbed to 68, leaving market sentiment in 'Greed' for a month. The rally is fragile inside: US spot Bitcoin ETF net inflows picked up sharply from mid-September, lifting the price from below $80,000 to about $87,000. On October 8 the funds posted $484.9 million in single-day net outflows, the largest since June, quickly reversing the flow. Ethereum ETF and Bitcoin ETF flows have diverged markedly, a sign that the recovery in risk appetite is uneven.
