Visa Details Stablecoin Push as Q3 Revenue Rises 14% to $11.6 Billion

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Visa's earnings beat (Q3 revenue +14% YoY) and accelerating cross-border volumes reinforce risk appetite while highlighting real-world traction for stablecoin settlement. Its plan to offer stablecoin settlement, on-chain wallet services, and fiat-to-stablecoin conversion, plus participation in OpenUSD standards, supports the broader tokenized payments stack. This is constructive for major smart-contract rails used for stablecoin issuance and payments integration.

Visa outlined the latest developments in its stablecoin strategy during its fiscal third-quarter earnings call, according to Cointelegraph cited by ChainThink on July 29. The payments giant said quarterly revenue reached $11.6 billion, up 14% year over year. Visa reported double-digit growth across key operating metrics in the quarter, including payment volume, cross-border volume and total processed transactions. Cross-border transaction volume increased 13% from a year earlier. The company said it is investing across the stablecoin stack and has joined the OpenStandard Alliance to support the rollout of OpenUSD. Visa added that its stablecoin platform is designed to let partners settle transactions in stablecoins, offer on-chain wallet services and enable fiat-to-stablecoin conversions. Visa also described stablecoins and AI as complementary technologies, arguing that agent-based commerce could broaden adoption and support long-term growth.
