Ripple has taken a strategic stake in Notabene (@notabene_id), a compliance network that underpins more than $2T in annualized onchain transaction volume. Financial terms were not disclosed.
As part of the deal, RLUSD will be integrated into Notabene Flow, the company's B2B stablecoin payments platform. Notabene says it connects over 2,300 institutions across 100+ jurisdictions, verifying counterparties and clearing Travel Rule checks before funds are transferred.
Ripple's stablecoin lead Jack McDonald (@_JackMcDonald_) said broad adoption "requires trusted identity, compliance, and transaction authorization before value moves." The announcement coincided with the launch of Ripple Mint, underscoring Ripple's push to build a full-stack stablecoin offering spanning issuance tooling and compliant institutional distribution.
