Brazil's Arabica Flow Heads to ICE Warehouses as Certified Stocks Hit 26-Year Low
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Traders plan to ship large volumes of Brazilian arabica to ICE warehouses to rebuild certified stocks that have fallen to a 26-year low. Major firms are targeting delivery against December futures, with shipments to Antwerp already rising. While 2026/27 is projected to be in surplus, today's unusually low inventories and Brazil's weather-delayed harvest are keeping futures elevated, supporting near-term volatility.

Traders are preparing to ship large volumes of Brazilian arabica coffee into ICE exchange warehouses to rebuild certified inventories that have fallen to their lowest level in 26 years. Major merchants including Olam and Louis Dreyfus are aiming to deliver as many as 200,000 bags against the December futures contract, with recent shipments to Antwerp, Belgium rising markedly. Even with the 2026/27 season projected to post a supply surplus, current certified stocks remain well below normal. Delayed harvesting in Brazil after bouts of extreme weather has also helped keep futures prices elevated around $3 per pound.
