GOLD rug-pull nets $1.01M as insiders dump 82.454% of supply in 30 seconds

AI Market Summary
Monitoring indicates the Trump Digital Gold (GOLD) team exited by selling ~824.54M tokens (82.454% of supply) within seconds, collapsing market cap from ~$55M to ~$1M after a promotional tweet was deleted. The rapid, concentrated distribution and coordinated selling highlights acute rug-pull risk in Solana meme/token launches, potentially pressuring near-term sentiment and liquidity conditions for SOL-denominated on-chain speculation.

HuoXing Finance said that on Aug. 29, EmberCN monitoring showed the Trump Digital Gold (GOLD) scam operation liquidated its entire position at around 2:00 p.m. local time, selling about 824.54 million tokens—82.454% of total supply—for roughly 9,784.6 SOL (about $1.01 million). GOLD was launched on Solana at 7:38 a.m. the same day. Addresses linked to the project amassed more than 82% of tokens through the initial distribution and post-launch buys. At around 9:00 a.m., the "official Trump merchandise partnership" account @realtrumpcoins1 posted a tweet sharing the GOLD contract address, briefly pushing the token's market cap to $66 million. The post was deleted around 11:48 a.m., after which the related wallets began heavy selling. In about 30 seconds, GOLD's market cap collapsed from $55 million to $1 million. The wallets continued to offload until the position was fully exited. GOLD is now valued at roughly $700,000 in market cap, down about 99% from its peak.
