MetaMask has expanded its Mastercard-backed crypto card across Latin America, adding support for 13 countries while the card remains available in Brazil and Argentina. The product automatically converts crypto from a user's wallet into local currency at checkout and offers 1% cashback paid in mUSD. The rollout follows MetaMask's 2024 pilot and a nationwide U.S. launch announced in February.

Maelstrom, the family office of BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, said two of the four developers funded under its Bitcoin Grant Program are now working full-time on privacy tools designed to make Bitcoin transactions harder to trace. The program has paid monthly Bitcoin installments on 12-month contracts since October 2024 and limits grant stacking to $400,000 per year. The update follows Hayes confirming Maelstrom has exited its entire Zcash (ZEC) holding, citing a risk tied to Zcash's Orchard pool.

Trust Wallet has introduced support for bStocks, letting eligible users gain price exposure to U.S.-listed equities such as Nvidia and Tesla directly from a self-custody wallet without a traditional brokerage account. The company says bStocks can be used across BNB Chain DeFi while continuing to receive dividend-related economics, though the tokens do not represent direct share ownership. Access is restricted in the U.S., UK, and EU, even as tokenized equities activity and regulatory attention increase.

Bybit, Binance and Bitget have withdrawn their planned allocations for tokenized exposure to SpaceX's IPO after failing to obtain enough underlying shares, and each says affected users will be refunded. Bybit said Friday it will return all subscription funds and add a 10% consolation reward, while Binance said it will refund locked USDC and distribute a share of a $1 million airdrop tied to its upcoming SPCXB token.

Binance Wallet's onchain SpaceX IPO subscription attracted about $557 million in USDC deposits from 27,689 addresses, with most wallets contributing $20,000 or less but supplying a smaller share of total funds. SpaceX priced its IPO at $135 per share and is set to begin trading on Nasdaq on Friday as SPCX, as bitcoin traded around $63,550 with broader crypto mostly higher.

Coinbase's Quantum Advisory Board said on June 11 that blockchain developers and crypto holders should start shifting to quantum-resistant cryptography, warning that future quantum machines could eventually compromise wallet security. The group estimated about 6.9 million BTC are in wallets with publicly visible keys, including roughly 1.7 million BTC in legacy P2PK addresses where keys are permanently exposed, while noting no quantum computer can break blockchain encryption today and NIST's recommended migration target is 2035.

On June 11, 2026, CoinFello announced the public launch of Fello 1, an upgrade that lets users interact with any EVM-compatible smart contract and aims to simplify DeFi liquidity provision. The release adds support for opening LP positions on Uniswap V2, V3, and V4, executing multi-step transactions, and using a self-custodial delegation model where users keep control of wallets and keys.

Tether said on June 10 it will lead a Series C financing of up to $1.4 billion for Germany's NEURA Robotics. The plan includes integrating Tether's open-source Wallet Development Kit into NEURA's robots so they can hold self-custodial wallets and carry out crypto payments, including micropayments, under predefined rules. NEURA is also set to test and deploy Tether's QVAC edge AI runtime inside its Neuraverse software platform.

Travala said it has launched an end-to-end agentic AI travel protocol that lets autonomous agents search, book, and pay for access to more than 2.2 million hotels, with user approval required at payment. The company is offering developers a 10% cbBTC rebate for bookings executed through AI agents integrated via the Travala Travel MCP. The stack uses Base and the x402 payments standard, aiming to enable gasless USDC payments with roughly $0.01 per booking.

Ripple launched the XRPL AI Starter Kit on June 10, aiming to let AI agents create wallets, send payments, and track transactions on the XRP Ledger without human approval. The Phase 1 release adds X402 support for HTTP-native machine payments using XRP or RLUSD and highlights XRPL's 3–5 second settlement with fixed costs and no gas auctions. Ripple also cited XRPL's continuous operation since 2012 with zero transaction rollbacks as a reliability point for institutional use.
