Nestle India hits record high after strong June quarter as rising costs cloud near-term upside
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Nestle India's strong June-quarter results (25.2% YoY revenue growth; 24.2% EBITDA margin) lifted the stock to a record high, but sequential margin compression and a rich ~75x trailing P/E near the top of its historical band temper near-term enthusiasm. Management flagged higher ad spend and West Asia-linked commodity and pricing uncertainty as ongoing margin headwinds, potentially keeping performance range-bound.

Nestle India posted a sharp pickup in its June-quarter performance, with revenue up 25.2% year on year and EBITDA margin at 24.2%, the highest for a June quarter in nearly four years. The margin, however, eased by 2.1 percentage points sequentially, reflecting higher operating costs. The shares touched an all-time high even as the stock trades at around 75 times trailing earnings, near the top of its five-year valuation range. The company flagged higher advertising spend and commodity and pricing uncertainty linked to the ongoing West Asia conflict as potential near-term drags on margins.
