JPMorgan's Kinexys Blockchain Tops $1.5 Trillion in Total Transactions Since 2020
JPMorgan said its blockchain platform Kinexys has processed more than $1.5 trillion in cumulative transaction volume since launching in 2020, with daily volumes now running above $2 billion.
In May 2026, the bank applied to launch a tokenized U.S. Treasury fund built on Kinexys, aimed at helping stablecoin issuers meet reserve-asset requirements under the GENIUS Act.
JPMorgan's Q3 2025 13F filing also showed the firm lifted its position in the iShares Bitcoin Trust by 64% to 5.28 million shares, worth about $343 million.
Looking ahead, Kinexys and Digital Asset plan to integrate JPM Coin into the Canton Network in 2026 to support settlement for institutional deposit tokens. (financefeeds)
