Ethereum Holds Near $1,921 as ETH Products See $36M Weekly Outflows
Ethereum traded around $1,921 on Monday, failing to break above $2,000, while digital asset investment products linked to ETH recorded over $36 million in weekly outflows, CoinJournal reports. Month-to-date flows reached $117 million and year-to-date outflows exceeded $494 million. Short-term price action has coincided with whale selling, including moves by Ethereum cofounder Vitalik Buterin, though traders note previous instances of large ETH whales being underwater have historically aligned with market bottoms. CoinJournal reports the price could revisit the $1,500 area if it fails to hold above $2,000, while a Bitcoin recovery above $74,000 may open a path for Ethereum to test the $2,300–$3,000 zone.
