Bitcoin Trades Near $67,500 as Rekt Capital Says Bear Market Call "Premature"

Bitcoin is trading around $67,500 after briefly approaching $70,000 on Wednesday, with analyst Rekt Capital saying on X it remains "premature" to declare the current bear market over. The cryptocurrency pulled back alongside stock futures after Nvidia shares fell more than 5% at Thursday's open, following the chipmaker's Feb. 25, 2026 earnings report. US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded over $750 million in net inflows across two days, trimming year-to-date outflows to under $2 billion, Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Eric Balchunas said, though Rekt Capital noted BTC is only ~140 days into its present bear market versus a historical minimum of 365 days and remains below the 200-week exponential moving average. Technical support sits in the $68,000–$68,500 zone, with a sustained breakdown toward $67,500 potentially opening a path to $60,000, while Standard Chartered this month cut its 2026 price target to $100,000 and flagged a possible retest of $50,000 before any renewed rally.
