$ETH whales stir as investors pull Ethereum from exchanges; accumulation hits multimonth high
Ethereum "whales" appear to be returning to the market, with large holders stepping up withdrawals from centralized exchanges as accumulation climbs to a multimonth peak. On-chain data tracked by Arkham Intel shows wallet 0xE5eB moved 4,361 ETH—worth about $9.98 million—off Kraken after roughly three months of inactivity. A separate, newly created wallet, 0xA605, withdrew 2,000 ETH valued at around $4.58 million from Binance within the past hour. Together, the transactions shift roughly $14.5 million into private custody, further tightening liquid ETH supply as exchange reserves sink to critically low levels.
