On December 30, a crypto whale known as the “ultimate bear” opened a short on Lighter at an average price of $2.95, shorting 31,000 LIT worth about $87,000, according to Coinbob. The position has a $4.75 liquidation price, with an additional 10,000 LIT short pending near $3.06. The move follows the whale’s highly profitable Bitcoin short, which shows roughly $12.05 million in unrealized gains on a $43.68 million position.
