IDFPR closes Metropolitan Capital Bank & Trust; First Independence will buy $251M assets
On Friday, Illinois' Department of Financial and Professional Regulation closed Metropolitan Capital Bank & Trust for unsafe and unsound conditions and an impaired capital position, appointing the FDIC as receiver.
