Ethereum Foundation stakes 46,667 ETH, hits about two-thirds of 70,000 ETH goal

The Ethereum Foundation has expanded its ETH staking position to roughly 46,667 ETH, bringing it to around two-thirds of its 70,000 ETH target. The foundation said the move is intended to reinforce Ethereum's infrastructure and bolster network security. It plans to stake the remaining roughly 23,333 ETH, with staking rewards typically directed toward research, grants, and protocol upgrades. Total ETH staked across the network has climbed into the tens of millions.
