Bitcoin May Face Multi-Month Downturn, Early 2026 Crypto Winter, Cantor Fitzgerald Says

Bitcoin may face a multi-month downturn and an early 2026 "crypto winter," Cantor Fitzgerald said in a Dec. 29 report. Analyst Brett Knoblauch said BTC is about 85 days off its cycle high and may test Strategy's average cost near $75,000. The firm added that institutional leadership and passage of the U.S. Digital Asset Market Clarity Act could reduce policy uncertainty.
