Harvard Management shifts $86.8M into iShares Ethereum Trust as crypto funds see $173M weekly outflows

Harvard Management Company cut its iShares Bitcoin Trust exposure in the fourth quarter while initiating an $86.8 million stake in the iShares Ethereum Trust, The Block reports. Global crypto funds posted a fourth straight week of redemptions with $173 million in outflows and $3.7 billion withdrawn over four weeks, CoinShares data show. Separately, deBridge launched its Model Context Protocol to enable AI agents and developer tools to perform swaps, bridging and multistep transactions across EVM chains and Solana, while Animoca Brands obtained a VASP licence from Dubai's VARA to offer broker-dealer and investment management services to institutional and qualified investors. Metaplanet disclosed a net loss of $619 million for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, attributing this to a $665.8 million valuation loss on its bitcoin holdings.
