Cypherpunk Technologies boosts Zcash holdings with $29M purchase to target 5% supply

Nasdaq-listed Cypherpunk Technologies has expanded its digital asset treasury by acquiring 56,418 Zcash tokens for roughly $29 million, pushing its total ZEC holdings to 290,062.67. The Winklevoss Capital–backed firm now controls about 1.76% of Zcash's circulating supply and aims to reach 5%, while ZEC has climbed over 800% in the past year amid renewed debates over privacy and digital surveillance.
