Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded a total net inflow of $355 million on December 30 (ET), ending a seven-day streak of net outflows, according to data reported by Wu Blockchain. The same day, U.S.-listed Ethereum spot ETFs saw a combined net inflow of $67.836 million across nine products with no reported outflows, while Solana spot ETFs registered a net inflow of $5.21 million, Wu Blockchain reported.

Centralized exchanges recorded a net outflow of 3,451.64 BTC over the 24 hours ending December 31, Coinglass data show. Kraken led outflows with 1,694.04 BTC, followed by OKX at 1,014.55 BTC and Coinbase Pro at 690.56 BTC. Bitfinex posted the largest inflow at 605.20 BTC.

Bitcoin climbed back above $89,000 on Dec. 30, gaining 1.66% over 24 hours, HTX data show. The move marks a recovery in BTC spot price on the HTX trading platform.

The crypto address 0x721 has turned about $50,000 into $272,000 since January, completing 82 trades with over 80% monthly and overall win rates and a 100% weekly win rate as of December 30, according to Coinbob data cited by BlockBeats. The address currently holds a 20x leveraged Bitcoin short at $89,300, showing 44% unrealized gains, and has placed roughly 100 buy orders to manage a $80,000–$87,000 range, planning to flip long near $86,383. Trader Paul Wei is using a similar strategy, earning about $3,100 since mid-November.

Japanese firm Metaplanet has acquired an additional 4,279 bitcoin (BTC), valued at approximately $375 million, bringing its total holdings to 35,102 BTC worth about $3 billion, according to WatcherGuru. The outlet reported that Metaplanet has pursued a strategy similar to MicroStrategy’s, accumulating bitcoin as a primary treasury reserve asset since early 2025.

Long-term Bitcoin holders ceased net selling for the first time since July 2025, according to crypto investor James Pillows as reported by Cointelegraph. On-chain data indicates this pause reduces immediate supply-side pressure on BTC amid year-end positioning. Holders had been distributing earlier in response to price rallies.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $19.3M in net outflows on December 30, with IBIT seeing $7.9M in withdrawals, Farside Investors data show. Spot Ethereum ETFs posted $9.6M in net outflows the same day, with ETHA registering $13.3M in withdrawals.
