Major Altcoin Short Trader Adds Over $2M in New LIT Shorts as Position Turns Profitable

A trader known as "山寨空军车头" increased their LIT short position by more than 750,000 LIT, worth about $2.07 million, in the past 2 hours after the token fell back to their average entry price, bringing total LIT exposure to roughly $2.73 million, Coinbob's popular address tracking shows on December 31. The address is currently the largest short on UNI and ASTER on Hyperliquid and holds around $28.4 million in total open positions after closing nearly half of 22 short positions in December and reopening multiple new shorts in recent days. The trader has focused on shorting altcoins this month, fully closed 10 short positions, achieved an 80% win rate over the last 30 days, and booked $82.25 million in profits this year, data show.
