BlackRock said on Wednesday it will roll out trading for its tokenized USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) on Uniswap, initially targeting qualified institutions. Following the announcement, UNI rose more than 3%, according to CoinMarketCap. The integration is coordinated by Securitize, and BlackRock will purchase an undisclosed amount of UNI.

Uniswap won an early procedural ruling after Judge John Koeltl dismissed a patent suit brought by Bancor‑linked entities. According to the judge’s memorandum opinion made public on February 10, the claims covered abstract ideas and were therefore ineligible. The case, originally filed in May 2025, was dismissed without prejudice, giving the plaintiffs 21 days to submit an amended complaint.
